Overall: 7 of 10 Great pre owned condition with some visible signs of use.

Outside: Visible signs of use.

Inside: Clean but has some light signs of use. Some gentle gray pen like line marks.

Canvas: Light signs of use. Few tiny beige dots from scuff.

Cowhide leather: Very dark patina/color with heavy signs of use. Some water stains, scratches, and scuffs. the leather tie up string, straps, and top leather trim have visible tearing and surface cracks. The leather tie up string may eventually need to be replaced (LV store or any generic leather string).

Shape: Keeps its shape but has signs of use.

Edges: Signs of use (visible scuffs).

Hardware: Signs of use. Deeper shade, gold coating wearing off, and green tinge around edges from aging brass.

Smell: Strong musty storage smell. This is a pre-owned item and will not smell brand new. If you are very sensitive to smells please keep this in mind before you decide to purchase this product.

Extra comments: The cowhide leather has some visible dryness and surface cracks from aging. The leather tie up string will eventually need to be replaced as it has been extencively use and has several dry cracks.
